Frustration with the new desing

I’m having trouble using the app. The new design has completely changed my 'pattern,' and my community can’t figure out how to navigate it. Unfortunately, we’ll have to delete the app. It’s become as frustrating as other non-functioning apps. I’m really disappointed.

With the new update the app is basically useless without pro version which is really saddening. I've been using the app for a very long time and it is impossible to get any insights.

I was a frequent user of the previous version of the app. Now it became a totally different app and it is very hard to navigate. I am thinking to delete it. The ux and simplicity of the previous version was way much better. Please go back to the old version otherwise I think you will lose a lot of users.

I don’t see all of the current timeline impacts as was in previous free version. Only some of them listed. Please bring this info back. Otherwise your app doesn’tmake big difference comparing to others.Please bring it back. The previous design was much better, less pictures, colors, all need in brief and precise info. I hate the new version

The new version is very complicated and incomprehensible. I first started using the app 3 years ago and since then it has gotten worse and worse… and now it's simply awful. I've recommended this app to more than 40 friends, but now I'm thinking of deleting it. I don't understand why they would ruin an app that is powered by simplicity :(

Sorry, it’s about new UI…

I really think The Pattern App considers what users think about the app… So, i am going to tell what is exactly BAD in new UI. I know designers wanted to The Pattern App look like modern, light themed. But me as a designer I can say it was better before, because the users can control what they read, they could switch up between pages etc. Now, they can not. There is an endless Lens page. The old version was similar to the Instagram Story feature, which was definitely better for users. You think people like doom scroll, okay. But NOT on The Pattern app. It’s confusing. EVERYTHING is a mess. This is not professional, this is not The Pattern. Even i first installed the app, i was very impressed by the logo with the brush stroke. It was very original. You should go more on these colors(black&white) i think, but even the blue UI was better. Your users want to read, dig more, then read again. But now everything is everywhere. There is no UI language, everything has a photo/illustration, they are not relatable with the context/title of the button. It is so hard to read titles with those images, every button is so flat. There is no brand image, it’s just looks like someone who just learned UI design and Figma. Sorry. A fan

New Version is Awful

Why did you delete the similarity percentage feature on the new update? That was one of the first things why ı am using your app besides your all-difficult UX design. Now, you make the app even more complex, have an awful UX design, and delete the percentage similarity feature. I am so upset about your change and won't pay for the premium. Get back the old version ASAP; this one is not usable. Unlike a readable version, you can now give lots of things in a loud version. It's even worse now. Why did you do that? Who thinks this version is more valuable? The first page is even worse. Why do ı have to scroll all the way down to read all the things at the lens? I couldn't quickly return to the page ı was looking for cause ı could not search because of the continuous scroll. Your previous design was more compact and more suitable to use. I want the last version ASAP!!!! I couldn't use this app as if it were new.

Surprisingly accurate - minor bugs

I am super happy with the content and up-to-date notifications app generates. I find all the content app presents accurate and insightful; I have one issue to be addressed tho: some of the content within “bonds” section cannot be opened- when clicked on them, the app closes itself- which seems like a persistent bug that happens each time I use Bonds. It affects app’s user- friendly experience, although there are interesting sections to explore- it somewhat becomes a challenging experience

Although I updated the app, some features are crashing when I click on them. I created a bond with someone and I clicked on “read more” but app is crashing. Unfortunately the app is too pricey for Turkish users now. I cannot use some features for free such as time travel etc. I really don’t get why using a such life style app this pricey when it was free or at a reasonable price before. Also design is complicated now. I wish it was minimalistic as before. Please fix the crash issue.

Ive been using this app for a while now and I quite enjoy it. Recommended to friends, always talk about how accurate it is. I even enjoy the push notifications I receive. But please redesign the home page. I find this new design lifeless and dull. Its a lifestyle app and people use it only for pleasure. I would give 5 stars if they didnt ruin it like this…

The latest update

After the latest update I see all my patterns as one day. They only show the current date as the start, finish and peak dates. I really hope a solution will be found soon because I’ve been using this app for such a long time now and it’s been disappointing recently.

New updates

This new interface sucks!

I get that it’s faster and more practical but the whole aesthetic disappeared!!

Now the font and the style looks like it’s an engineering app! Please rearrange the aesthetics of the app!

It makes me wanna not hang out in the app anymore. This is supposed to be a spiritual place. Even the resolution of the pattern icon in the bottom left corner sucks!

It was actually a very nice app that I used very often, but this lgbtq being shoved down our throat is becoming really absurd. I do agree everyone should have equal rights, but forcing me to have a heart made out of rainbow is like 18th century oppression at its best. Wish you grew out of it.

P.S.: If you really care about your app, I suggest you *never* bring turkish into it. These turks will ruin your app in a minute, trust me!

Change in the messages

In the begging of the application I used to receive more daily update on my current pattern, recently I have noticed that the same messages just being repeated over and over, also more positive vibes you were sending instead of focusing on negative ones, when i used to read my pattern it motivated me and thats what I liked more about it. I think the aim is to have good vibes and being aware of the negative ones but without seeding it in us. I just wish for you and your team to be able see it. Thank you!
