Disappointing safety support
After a reported incident in Pattaya, I received only generic responses with no explanation or transparency. Even after the issue was supposedly resolved, the communication remained dismissive and unprofessional.
This experience made me lose trust in the service.

Scheming company
They sent me an offer of 20% off first three rides, however it was nothing but a scam! They did not give the discount but marked up the price of the ride and then claimed a discount was given, only to charge me the full amount. I will never use them and delete the app. Do not get this app!
Developer responded to my email by asking me to contact support on the app, which I had already done and received nothing but bogus reasons for their not honoring their offer. Definitely not going to use them again.

Dont Use Dubai
Today I realized this:
Bolt deliberately makes the route longer compared to Careem.
At first it looks cheaper, but in reality it’s the most expensive option.
Careem gives a 4 km route to the destination, while Bolt turns it into 7.4 km.
This is clearly not customer-friendly.
It’s obvious they are only looking after their own profit — this is a clear and definite observation.
In Dubai, you are expensive. Answer: I already gave you more than enough chances. I spent over an hour dealing with your customer support, and you still failed to resolve the issue. That opportunity is now gone.

Захотел водитель, приехал. Не захотел, поехал дальше по своим делам.
Агрегатор ни как не контролирует и не дисциплинирует работу водителей.
За оплату картой - не приезжают.
Если водителю не нравится конечный пункт - не приезжают.
Может тут еще кофе покупать водителю что бы он был доволен?

Poor experience
I used the Bolt app in Baku, Azerbaijan. The app does not include up-to-date information about the road closures. Islam Seferli Street was closed due to a construction work. The app did not have that information resulting in drivers cancelling the rides after waiting for 20 mins. If you guys can’t keep up with the latest information, just leave the stage for Uber.

Bad Operation
Bolt does not know how to run a consistent operation. It deducts the price so hard, so drivers do not respond and wait for price increases. In the meantime I ALWAYS have to switch to uber and request a ride with a price which is obviously more acceptable for the drivers. Waste of time. Always.

I ordered a taxi from Nice to Monaco for a girl wearing high heels, but they dropped her off on a hill, and she ended up arriving an hour late, ruining the date. I wrote to the company, but they said they could only give me €5. Are you kidding me? You ruined the date. I'm deleting the app and won't recommend it to anyone.

Functional but it has flaws
In terms of functionality, yes it works great. But in one of my holidays, I used Bolt several times and I noticed that company charged more than I used the app. I counted one by one. There were 18 trips, but the number of the payments with the credit card was 21. Even though the app said my trip is cancelled, these cancelled trips were also charged. Also, couldn’t find any any contact information to show my proofs.
Update: thanks for the reply but it didn’t solve the problem. The payments I mentioned are not temporary pre-authorization fees. I paid all of them. Also, no contact information is available in your website. Faqs are not useful and provide solution for my problem

Unfair charge
After ordering a Bolt ride at Phuket Airport, the driver called me and said: “We are not allowed to enter the airport premises, could I kindly ask you to walk outside the airport area?” Under the scorching sun and in extreme heat, we had to walk out, drenched in sweat. As a result, we were unfairly charged a “waiting time fee” even though this delay was not our fault. Customer services did not help us about the UNFAIR payment fee. Due to this unfair practice, I will NEVER consider using Bolt again.

The driver stole my money
The driver was so disrespectful to me, my trip costed 10 euros and when i gave my 50 euro to him he took from my hand and look trough his wallet and said that he couldn’t give me an change. He told me to look to my house, as i was scared of him so i just went to my home and took 20 euro and come back. He was gone with my 50 euros. The bolt support didn’t do anything but give “promo code” as they think a good thing. BUT THIS IS OBVIOUSLY MY RIGHT they didint do anything else… the driver wasn’t punished, or nothing more then my money to show them they were sorry. As a minor and from a differe country i dont feel secure in bolt. AND I DONT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!!!

Azerbaycan’da uygulama ile ödeme ayarındayım. Şoförlerin bir kısmı cash istiyorlar, rezervasyonu da iptal etmedikleri için ben iptal etmek zorunda kalıyorum, sonra hesabım donduruluyor. Ya da 2-3 dakikaya araç gelecek yazıyor; 10 dakika geçiyor, araçta hareket yok. İptal ediyorsun, yine hesabın bloke oluyor. Bu problemler yüzünden soğudum artık! Sorunlara bir çare bulun!

3. Çoğu kez sürücü ve taksi farklı geliyor.
4. Sürüş güvenliğiniz 0%
5. Sürücülere 5 AZN gittiğiniz yola 10 AZN uzatırsanız para üstü yok mu? Diye sorarlar ya market market gezip para üstü ararsınız yada para üstü almaktan vaz geçersiniz. Zaten para üstü almamanız İçin sizi bezdirirler.
6. Bolt müşteri hizmetlerine sürücü şikayetlerini bildirdiğimizde standart herkese verdiği cevabı veriyorlar.
7. Kısacası en güzeli hiç bir uygulama kullanmamak giyeceğim ama piyasayı avuçlarına almışlar başka bir seçenek bırakmıyorlar.
